Dr. Dariush Mozaffarian, MD DrPH-Tufts University, Jean Mayer Professor of Nutrition and Medicine, dean of the Friedman School of Nutrition Science & Policy, presents A Global Perspective In Preventing Cardiometabolic Diseases: From Discovery To Policy. In this talk, Mozaffarian discusses the growing epidemic and global burden of cardiometabolic diseases including diabetes and cardiovascular disease, which are a leading cause of death in low- and middle-income countries. His presentation focuses on the critical role of nutrition in tackling these global health issues.
